Because we are a small inn, cancellations affect us significantly. If you need to change or cancel please do so at least 7 days (30 days for groups or special events) before arrival and we will refund your deposit, less a $35 cancellation fee per room. This cancellation fee is in effect any time you cancel. Cancellations within 7 days (or 30 days for special events or groups) owe the full amount of the reservation, unless we can rebook the room(s). Sorry, no exceptions, this policy is firm. If you are concerned about the possibilities of late cancellation you may wish to purchase inexpensive travel insurance.
Honeybee Inn does charge the first night’s stay at time of booking your room. Remainder will be charged early morning on the day of check in. If you do not receive an email confirmation, you do not have a reservation. Please call immediately.

Only paying guests are allowed use of the inside of the inn. All rooms are limited to two guests. Any additional guests will be charged a $250/night extra fee. For more information please call innkeeper.

Honeybee Inn is a smoke free property. Please no smoking anywhere on the premises. Thank you.A $200 additional fee will be charged for cleaning, if you smoke in your room. Our goal is to keep our rooms smelling fresh and our grounds litter free for all our guest’s enjoyment.
Honeybee Inn Bed & Breakfast welcomes all guests 18 and over. Due to certain allergies, No pets of any kind allowed except for service animals.
Check in hours are from 4-6 p.m. Early check is available at $40/hour and will need to be booked at the time of reservation with the innkeeper. Self check -in is available. Please contact innkeeper to make arrangements as you will need information to get into the house. For safety and peace of mind, every exterior door to the Inn is equipped with Ring doorbells. and the all common areas have cameras.
Checkout is by 11 a.m. Later check-out is available for $40/hour and will need to be booked at time of reservation.
Quiet Hours – For the enjoyment of all guest we hold quiet hours between 10pm and 8am. Please feel free to enjoy the television, stereos, etc. however, guests are required to keep the volume down to a level that other guests will not be disturbed.
Please inform us of any allergies or dietary restrictions when reserving room. We are happy to accommodate reasonable special needs when notified prior to stay. If you have a severe allergy, of any kind, affected by diet, please note we do not have a separate area in our small kitchen and there is a risk of cross contamination. We are not nutritionalists nor doctors, therefore do not have the knowledge pertaining to each particular allergy or disease and it is incumbent upon our guests to fully inform the Innkeeper to help determine if we can serve their needs.
Breakfast is served from 8:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. If you are unable to attend breakfast during the time frame please let the innkeeper know and a “Breakfast Grab Bag” will be provided.
Some two night minimums are required during very busy times of the year, such as October weekends, and a few other busy times. If you are wondering if there are minimums when you are planning a stay, please inquire.
Guests are responsible for all damages to property that is deemed outside of normal wear and use. While it is understood that occasional accidents do happen, it is the responsibility of our guests to use items in a manner that is consistent with proper use and handling of such items. We ask that no candles or massage oils be brought to the inn. Candles are a fire hazard in this big wood building. And massage oils are very hard to get out of our high thread count sheets. Fireplaces are CLOSED for the 2022 and 2023 season.
Excessive cleaning fee – Any room that requires excessive cleaning upon guest departure is subject to a $250+ excessive cleaning fee. Our expectation is that guests will treat the property in a manner that is consistent with historical stature of the property.
